I've always been a fan of Friedkin's 1977 film Sorcerer—but according to Friedkin don't call it a remake of The Wages of Fear. The film flopped when it was released and has found a resurgence in recent years. During this interview, the two directors talk about the film, the process, the incredibly demanding film shoot, the casting, and its unfortunate release timing (it came out around the same time as a film you may have heard of called Star Wars).
