The art world depends on people coming together -- to experience, create, and collaborate. The Coronavirus crisis poses a threat to that -- and artist's livelihoods are at stake. To do their part, Imagine MKE has set up a relief fund so people can help out. From their web site:

While businesses, governments, and public health officials are working together to stem the tide of COVID-19, many working artists are deeply feeling the effects of multiple and ongoing and cancellations of bookings due to the current pandemic crisis. To help support our city's artists and creators, we are joining arts and culture partners to raise funds for a MKE Artist Relief Fund that will benefit Milwaukee-based artists who have experienced a financial loss due to a canceled live event, performance, or engagement.
